Gerald,
Are you using this on one of your machines at the moment? If you are or know the originator, how does this perform?

We did use it. It drove 6mm [1/4"] cutters very well. Has a nice deep reach.

I like the body shape in the picture what make is it and or model. Can you put a speed controller on it? I assume you can. Is it a right angle grinder with the head modified?

Too many questions but I do use a 2.5 Hitachi router now and I like the thought of the grinder I think the bearings might be tougher in a grinder...

Hi Gerald, it is the crazy oke (or oak!) from Zululand. :)
This morning the temp here was 11 deg.. Thuesday was 8. Everbody is complaining bitterly!
For which time period (months) did you use the die grinder in production?
Is it possiable to cut to a descent depth or does one have to go in, say, 5mm at a time.?

The max cutter diameter was 6mm and for that the max plunge was about 8mm.
