I know that I may be posting this in the wrong location or something else but I do not know where else to correctly post. I saw that Fabrica; who has serial number 1, cut a Welsh Dragon with his MechMate and I have tried to find such a file to no avail! Living in Wales I think that this would be a great file to have access to to help finance the construction of my very own MechMate. Is there any chance Fabrica still has the file? Or does anyone else have it?
Thanks
Keith

Hello Dave, That is great work!! I am using Vectric's VCarve Pro V5.5. What format have you saved that work in? Could I get a copy of that? That is excately what I know some people are looking for.

Thanks all, no to the questions.
Domino: I did start with a 2d pic off the internet, following a artcam video on how to do it but it took a little thought on my part to figure out what he was doing.
Keith: I am not familar with v-carve so i dont know if artcam can output a v-carve friendly 3d file, if it can i would be happy to give you a copy of it.
Ok now to Ken: I started with a 2D pic of the dragon, reduced the colors to 4 (white, red, black and green) the using shape editor in artcam raised each color to a specific height (user preference) the generate the 3D g-code for the project. I havent cut this out, it was more of a learning session.

Dave, What file formats can you export the dragon as? I am running VCarve Pro 5.5 and it is a very versitile program and I would think that it would be able to handle a 3D file; I hope

Hello Drad98_98,
Can you post the file as a Artcam Pro 2008 friendly file?
I just found out that the father of a client of mine knows someone who uses Artcam Pro 2008 where he works! It sure is a small world.
