hi all. a friend and myself started looking at build a cnc machine, however we have a few questions after reading most of the posts on the forum. would it make the cnc machine sturdier by using linear rails instead of the way the machine is designed now? i am a little (really a lot :)) lost trying to decide what size stepper, driver board, and gear rails to use. i would like to use a geared stepper and the right size gear and rail. could someone tell me what geared stepper and pitch of gear/rail to use. we plan on building a 48 X 96 table.

thanks for any help jim
