Gerald,
I am getting ready to add a thread for a problem I have been working and I wanted to include a drawing. When I try uploading a dxf format it is X out meaning it is not available. I don't remember how to add drawings.
Thanks

I think you are seeing the redX where the little icon/graphic appears for the other file types in the "attachment key"? This little redX simply means we don't have a icon/graphic for dxf . . . .
Same as what you see for the .rar format?
We need 16 x 16 .gif format icons to match the rest.
But, the upload works.

Okay, I found a dxf icon to use for that table . . . .
5841
But a lot of the other icons can be improved. Who can can offer me some 16 x 16 icons that make better sense?
You could also push the collapse button http://www.mechmate.com/forums/images/buttons/collapse_thead.gif so that you don't see the list. . . . . . which nicely illustrates how we are wasting a good Sunday on meaningless little icons. :D
Edited to add:
Fixed the missing rar icon and decided that life is too short for fiddling with icons. Thread closed and archived.
