Hi everyone,

My self devendra singh and i am reading all posts and information on this site from almost a year, now i got courage to go for my own build of mechmate. I am sure i will get all type of support from all members. I am a mechanical Engineer and my hand is somewhat tight in Electronics, but I am sure with your cooperation i will get through it.
I am a working professional and only get time on sundays for working on my own machine.

I will Start my work from This comming sunday. I had talk with a workshop owner and he is ready to supply me all machined parts and fabrication related items, laser cutting i will manage from my current company.
will get back with more details of progress.

Can any body tell me the rack and pinion supplier in india. Also I need that two sided tape.

Singh bhai - two sided tape is available - find a adhesive or foam tape supplier near you and ask for 3m VHB and mention whatever tape is recommended here

Any gear cutter nearby can cut you the racks - think our pal Sharma can help you here - he's in Ajmer.

3M double sided tape from Bhagirath place shop (have to search for card for shop no.)
Hardware shops also keep this tape, but at higher prize.
