Ros, which features of the new vBulletin will be of interest to you? I only use the very basic facilities of vBulletin to keep the administration low - right now I don't see a benefit in the new version.

you are right.
Simple and functional is better and faster.

is more important to update php and mysql for security flaws.

I have seen an interesting feature, statistics in the personal user control pannel.

Those statistics are possible with this version. But I don't like that such things are displayed about members. Here I try to give the members as much privacy as possible. If they come on-line or not, it does not matter.

Ok Gerald.

no more than talk, but only say that this is another option that I have seen.

Profile Privacy that everything is off by default.

Gerald,

One users opinion, I like the way you have things set up now. Simple to use everyone has access to look at the information. You sign to be a member.

Ros,

Here are the places where I get most information about vBulletin:

http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/index.php
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/index.php

plus they also send me "sales" information and newsletters.

The amount of information from them, about them, is too much! :)

I ve seen a feature at CNCzone where you post a link to a video, the video is shown right there in the post, cool feature IMHO.

Another interesting feature is the menubar ltem called My Replies, not that I post a lot, but I use it @ the zone to keep track of posts Im interested without making it a subscription.

My 2 cents (of peso)
