Here's a drawing of my table, and a photo of how it actually turned out. The table design is different to SB's because I have a 12" Z, because 6" channel isn't reaqdily available here, and because this seemed a more elegant solution. I think if I was designing/making another I would put the legs at the end of the table to avoid hitting my head on those projecting channels. I don't know that I would use channel either - that was probably a gesture towards SB's design. I'm beginning to think I wouldn't have a fixed under table storage rack either - a storage rack on wheels might make more sense, but I'm also talking to somebody about turning large diameter objects on the indexer which might need that space below the table. Although the table does have six contact points with the ground to prevent the table sagging under the weight of ply/MDF, a seperate rack would overcome this problem anyway.
